How does - or doesn't - the CSME work for you?
What are your thoughts and experiences on getting information on the CSME, including its free movement provisions, whether you are a worker, employer or an private/public sector official? What is the CSME's relevance to your working life? Where do you get information from? Is it usually what you need to know? How has the existing information affected your decisions on accessing the job market in the CSME? Do you need different information than what you're getting and what forms should that info take?
Share it all here and pose questions of your own on the CSME and You DiaBlog.
The blog is part of a four-month-long study that is aimed at encouraging workers and employers to participate more actively in the Caribbean Community Single Market and Economy (CSME) is now underway.

The blog is part of a four-month-long study that is aimed at encouraging workers and employers to participate more actively in the Caribbean Community Single Market and Economy (CSME) is now underway.
The study, which is funded under the Ninth European Development Fund (EDF) Caribbean Support Programme (CISP), will carry out research and development for a public education strategy for disseminating messages for workers, employers and other stakeholders.
STUDY ON CSME COMMUNICATIONS BEGINS
The communications and marketing firm, Right Angle Imaging of St Lucia, has been contracted by the Secretariat to conduct the study. The firm is examining how much the labour community knows about the CSME regimes that enable the free movement of goods, jobs, services and investment. We will be talking to labour organizations, media, labour ministries and employers associations and travelling to five CSME nations.
We begin out consultations in St Lucia on June 28 and 29 and we'll share our findings from those consultations with you to stimulate further dialogue.
We'll be meeting labour unions, professional associations, labour and immigration officers, employers confederations - and you. Survey interviewers will be posted at five regional airports to talk to travellers.
The Right Angle Imaging Team - moderators of this DiaBlog - are happy to provide this forum for commentary and discussion. Please respect our house rules. Above all, let's keep it clean - be civil, truthful, relevant and responsible, share your knowledge and real-life experiences and please suggest removal of comments that violate these standards.
Now, over to you.
Let's DiaBlog.
